Choose a copier carrier that can adequately answer your questions
When you're looking for reliable shipper, you will need to make sure you have the accurate information to make a wise and cost effective decision. Before hiring a copier carrier, here are a few important questions to ask.
What is included in my freight estimate?
- When you are given an official freight estimate, the quote includes freight, fuel and coverage.
- Any special conditions such as stairs, building access, etc. will be an additional cost and also listed on the freight estimate if indicated by customer on the initial inquiry to MOE.
What is the packaging process?
MOE is a blanket wrapped carrier. Once the machine is loaded onto the truck the driver will use pads, straps and blankets as needed to secure your machine. Just make the equipment available for the driver and he will take care of the rest.
How soon after I book will it be picked up and delivered?
After the booking process has been completed the shipment will be put on schedule. Normal shipping time is 7-10 business days. 24 hours after the shipment has been booked it will be updated in our tracking system and a date spread will be provided.
How will I know the copier was delivered?
Once the copier is loaded the driver will have the pickup contact sign off on our bill of lading, this is the same for delivery. Once the paperwork is received in our office, it will be uploaded and available under tracking.
